Hear me out on this one. Depending on what you've been doing it can work, but only up to a point. Even then, it should be done sensibly – and not at the full expense of your recovery. When your exercise activity is already high, now that’s one case where it's unlikely going to make a huge difference. The point I'm trying to get across is to dial in good dietary habits that are conducive to your goals – eating the appropriate amount and getting in sufficient protein. Otherwise, you're simply wasting your time.
